BPD is a nightmare to deal with .. my experience is they only get worse-start therapy to start healing from being with a bpd then find /call around and get a free consultation with a lawyer or sometimes they charge 100-200 for and hour or two well worth it to see what your getting into .. females ALWAYS have the upper hand you need to protect yourself . Check out books on Amazon about being with a bod and healing they are tremendously helpful divorce is painful and hard please take care of yourself go to the gym, reconnect with friends and family you are going to need them steer clear of vices ( alcohol drugs etc ) it will come in waves feeling great and then just plain awful but if you stay focused , put yourself first heal, gym, therapy, friends family etc you will come out of this a better man you’re you it’s a hard lesson but you’re learning it now use it as fuel to be better and never end up there again stay strong keep moving forward

Ok. First. Take a real deep breath, and know that lots of us here are going through exactly the same thing. Me, for instance. I recommend the following. Read as many posts here as you can, to educate yourself about how to protect yourself from false allegations. Next, hire a good attorney. Do not skip this step. Do it yesterday and do not tell her, you do not help the enemy! (And if you think she's not, then you need to spend a little.more time here). Third, do not do mediation unless you hate money and like to burn it. She has already called the cops, and did the whole suicide routine, so you are done. She called the cops on you... Think about it. Did you rationalize that too? Severe any emotional tie, remorse, nostalgia, anything. She's BPD, like my stbxw, there's no recovery. Ok? It's over and you need a solid exit plan. Next head over to the sub reddit forums on dealing with BPD, and read those stories... So you know how bad it can get. Did I mention get a lawyer? Document everything, copious contemporaneous notes my friend. Record everything she says and does. Protect your assets now. Open your own bank account, get a PO box. Start setting aside money for you. If you are suffering from depression, even the slightest, get yourself into therapy yesterday. You're going to need it to deal with the emotional fallout. Finally, do not doubt your resolve. You must take this decision and you must carry it through. Your life probably depends on it. Do not feel bad for her, she does not feel anything for you. She has BpD, she is an empty hollow shell who is faking any type of sincere positive emotion towards you. If you haven't already, educate yourself a lot on BPD, the signs, patterns, and methods of destroying everything and everyone. Come back here often and ask for advice. It is a long journey my friend, but you've taken the right first step to getting yourself back.
