Good evening everyone i have been lurking on this sub for a couple of months trying to decide what to do.

Backstory : Got married when we were 19 and 21 married for 13 years and have 3 kids. We have been separated 8 times during that 13 years but always have came back to one another for different reasons. We hardly ever fight but over the last 6 months it seems like we are moving in different paths, emotionally, physically, everything.

4 weeks ago we sat down and finally had the actual talk about divorce, (not just threatening it as a way to get attention) we decided then it would be best to separate and decide what we really want. We both admitted that we haven't been happy in a while and it was like we were roommates that had kids together. So i moved out and moved in with my parents while we figure out what we wanted. After 2 weeks we both said that we should go though with the divorce and be done. So i started going to the gym and doing things to keep my mind off of not being around my children. Everything was going ok(not missing her or wanting to get back together) until yesterday. I got a timeline memory on facebook of me and her on a date 2 years ago( when we both admitted was the best our marriage had ever been) and it got me thinking how much i actually miss her. I know its just me being lonely and if we get back together eventally it would just lead right back to where we are now. So my question is you all of you guys is how do you avoid feeling like this. Feeling like you want to get back together and make things work? Nothing has been officially filed or lawyers hired or anything like that.. just in pre-divorce mode right now
