Looking for a little general advice please. In August 19 I began the initial stages for mediation. It resulted in an offer from my ex before it got going, it cost me dearly in terms of time and money, then followed a counter proposal from me in early December she has refused to respond to. So following Christmas I've started the process again. More time more money. Had my appointment, she was going for hers, so I'm gearing up for going together, until today. Now she tells me she's been back to her solicitor and I'll get a further proposal in the post. She says she's hopeful I'll accept. Is this yet another ploy to just mess me about? How does this fit with mediation? Do I just put it on hold or await advice to a letter that is most probably full of her unrealistic demands? Anyone been in this sort of position? Any help is gratefully received.
