Sorry guys I’m new to Reddit. I’ve read a lot about some very similar things that are going on in my life And I’m just looking for a little bit of advice.

Let me start off by saying we’ve been married for almost 3 years, we have a daughter who is not biologically mine but I’ve adopted. Things of been rocky for quite a while. We actually separated about a year ago for roughly 3 1/2 months. After counseling and just what we both thought we wanted we got back together, she in our daughter move back into our house. About three months later we sold the house and bought a new one. Now here we are a year later and both of us are absolutely miserable. I’ll admit that I’m not perfect, but I’ve really worked on my communication with her.

She just recently started a full-time job which was new to her after working 20 to 25 hours a week. Since that point, things have gotten drastically worse. I have expressed many, many times how I need her to be more active and honestly just there in our relationship.

Mind you we moved into our new home just before Thanksgiving in November, and we’ve had sex one time. Most of the nights she sleeps with her daughter and not with me. I have expressed more times than I can count how important it is for us to sleep in the same bed, be more mindful of our relationship in our marriage. Every time it seems to get manipulated to the point where she acts like I’m crazy because I bring it up all the time. But it’s important not only to me but for our relationship I feel like. I guess I just don’t know what to do, the other day I asked her if she was happy and if she wanted to stay together and she answered with I don’t know. I’ve contacted a lawyer to try to get my ducks in a row, just needing a little advice from some guys who have been through a similar situation I guess
