I have two teenage daughters from an amicable divorce a decade ago. A few years later I met and married a beautiful woman who was very sweet and loving to us. After two years of marriage I lost my job, I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor that could not be removed.

My wife immediately became abusive to my daughters and cruel to me. After our third year of marriage she moved back to her wealthy parents house. I am now on disability and can barely afford food for my kids.

My ex wife took everything from my house that I owned for 16 years, even my children's clothing and furniture. I could not afford an attorney. The judge made me give her what little money I had left, sell my house, give her both of my cars, and give her 95% of the profit from the sale of the home.

I was also ordered to pay her $10,000 for taxes that she owed. The IRS contacted me last autumn and said she never paid so they wanted me to pay. After many conversations they decided to make her pay.

Now the State of Wisconsin wants me to pay her taxes even though I sent them all of the documentation.

They are threatening me. I have no money. Does anybody have an idea what I can do? Should I try to find a pro bono attorney? Any advice would be appreciated.
