Just throwing this out there to laugh about and see if you have any similar stories (I'm sure you do).
Working through the queue of prospects on the dating app and see a woman who seems to have a lot in common with me - she says she works out 5-6 times a week, eats clean, and values taking care of herself, and enjoys music and outdoor activities. She's also reasonably cute. A solid 7.
Cool, we might mesh really well. However, she is a few years older (50), but what the heck, right? It's just a date to see if there is any connection with no real obligation.
We connect and message each other and she asks if I have an idea for a first date. Well, scanning her profile, I see she likes pickleball. I have never played that before but would love to learn, so I suggest we meet up and play - I'd love for her to show me the ropes as this is something I've been wanting to try. It's a fun, outdoor activity and summer is just beginning. Great idea, right?
Response: "Well, that might be a great idea for a second date, but please come up with a good idea for a proper first date". 😂😂
WHAT? Wow, enjoy post-wall life. How is such a great catch available?
