Hey all.

Sorting out a family lawyer for my upcoming court date (see previous self post if curious)

Long story short, her and I are on the lease. She accused me of assault and am charged, and im not allowed there, or near her until Jan 29th (the court date).

I usually pay rent.

Should I pay rent for January? Should I remove myself from the lease? What is going to hurt me less here?

It's unlikely I will be able to get a lawyer to assist me before the end of the month.

Any suggestions?
