I've been hesitant to directly address my ex. I asked her if she set her work schedule yet, and when she inquired why I was asking, I explained that I was trying to figure out her availability. In the past, I've asked her about her work schedule, but she hasn't provided that information.
I'm considering waiting until Saturday, when I have the kids, to discuss potential future custody arrangements with her before she goes to work on Sunday. She's already refused to agree to the separation agreement, so I want to stay proactive with this.
I asked my ex around noon if she could get back to me will give her till 8 PM tomorrow. Does that seem fair and reasonable? If she doesn't respond by then, I'll go ahead and finalize my own work schedule. However, if she does get back to me before the deadline and my schedule allows for changes, I would be willing to accommodate her. If she doesn't respond or responds after the schedule closes, then I’ll have to move on without her input, as it wouldn't be my problem anymore.
I would appreciate any thoughts or advice you might have.
