Short term marriage

For short duration marriages, easiest is to disclose zero community property, i.e. you saved nothing after marriage and all that you have was earned prior to marriage. Hopefully you have not purchased a house as the primary residence (if owned is always treated as community property)

When I got out of the corps I spent a good month in the Lux Hotel in Vegas. They are cheaper than a motel and there are a lot of people that go through. One night I met a stripper and we actually hit her off - stage name was Kamiko, she wasn't even Japanese but pretended to be. After about 24 hours on cocaine and vodka we got married in Vegas. It was actually fine at first, honestly, she was great sober and the sex was amazing. But like all things, it withered on the vine and in 3 months I had to file for annulment and then eventually divorce. At the time, I had just gotten out of the corps and was broke and getting ready for college so it didn't matter. At one point I believe she remarried and ironically her daughter now works on the strip.
