Folks in negotiations with Ex….common law for 15 years married for 16 years. We reside in Ontario CANADA, given the combination of both common law and the marriage act, how is spousal support calculated. Kids have left the nest, the X, has retired but has access to RRSP’s, and she is after my pension benefits. What would she be entitled too….I am considering a swap my portion of the house sale in exchange for my pension and other RRSP savings. I welcome you thoughts, opinions…. TY
