Separated and living in the same house with two boys. We’re currently in mediation

Best thing to do in my opinion is sell the house and spilt the profit, I’ve even offered taking less than her. She won’t sell. Saying she won’t be able to buy a decent house for her and the boys. I say it’s not a permanent thing and if she has to be in a flat for a couple of years so be it. The house is in a nice area and is good for them. Near good schools etc.

I’m now looking at renting. Rent here is 600-1000 a month plus bills for a shared apartment. Massive backward step for me. I want to have me own place that the boys can come and stay not some rented place.

She’s also after 1500 a month to maintain the boys which would financially cripple me. The most a court would award her would be 1200 and maybe less due to me renting. Really want to avoid court.

Any advice?

Should I suck all this up and just pay whatever the fuck she wants? Let her have the house? The boys would do better for it...
