This is an amazing and noble service. I'm sure there are support groups that meet and have structure locally for all of us, but it's 2018, practically 2019. I'm tired of placed saying "get a lawyer, we can't give you legal advice" - I need a place I can sit down and talk to other people going through the shit I'm going through, and we can benefit from each other's experience.

Now, I'm already thinking ahead to set times for certain events (Going Through It Support; Congratulations! You're Divorced Celebration, The Battles within the Battles, and of course Dealing with it, Together) and role qualifications (Filed, Contemplating, DivEZ[no assets no kids], DivCust, DivLostCust, DivLostEverything,etc...)

But it just needs to start somewhere. I am relatively new here, but I feel like a band of brothers that I want to be a part of. I want to stay and help afterwards, because we are all going through deep, cutting hell, and we need support. Our families and friends, our fellow churchgoers, our attorneys...they have very important roles, for sure. but if we scrub down things we don't need from things we do - being able to walk into a channel and just talk to guys - it could be a valuable resource. Shout out to the mods.
