"April 26th is Shared Parenting Day and it represents hope for many families across America. Shared Parenting Day commemorates the day the first equal shared parenting presumption law was signed in Kentucky. That was four years ago and shared parenting has made more legislative progress in the last four years than the previous two hundred place plus years of American history. NPO got Kentucky's law passed and helped get the nation's second equal shared parenting presumption law in Arkansas last year. And, just two weeks ago, we led the effort to get the third state, West Virginia, on board. "

3 states down, 47 to go. It's a long road for parents (mostly fathers). If you have a family member or friend who's had their child(ren) taken away by the other parent or a judge and turned into a visitor, please share this far and wide for awareness

National Parenting Organization Please consider making a donation. The NPO has done the leg work on this as well as the legislation being introduced into states the mandate a judge presume maximum equal shared 50/50 physical custody parenting time as a starting point in their decisions. Regardless of what you read about 'best interest of the child" and other false narratives that make you think 50/50 physical custody is in place, it's simply a lie told by attorneys and states. Please donate to help children and remember to wear yellow April 26th.

"This Shared Parenting Day you can help more than normal. Mark Halle, a longtime supporter of NPO's mission, has established NPO has a matching grant up to $5,000 for every donation during the week leading up to April 26th. So, if you donate $100 you are actually giving us $200 to research, poll and lobby. "
