That's actually technically true. But the important part they forgot is that it doesn't mean they ARE guilty, either. Not guilty is just not guilty. Its an agnostic position. They may still be guilty, but if you're going to say (or imply that), the burden of proof is on you. Innocent until proven guilty.

I wonder if he’d have been acquitted if Anthony Rapp were a woman…

The only problem i have is the “at all”.

The burden of proof is not on the defendant. So he could still have done it, but the court found there was no proof he did it.

How many people still think OJ did it? I do. Doesnt mean im sexist.

Ye I agree, in most cases if the judge finds you innocent you are but in very few cases they actually are guilty so if she didn't use the at all it would've been much better

Ya its more seaflys comment that makes me upset. No critical thinking “at all” in that comment.

Like those women that manage to rape someone and yet force them to pay child support or kill someone and get away with "Umm but he hit me once (source: trust me sis) so I'm the victim here", and aren't considered guilty by either the court or society

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
