"Why is there no compassion for men?" Because too often they're seen as utilities at best, or horrible abusive monsters at worst. There's no place for concern about men's feelings or male issues when even a "good man" is seen as someone who's treats himself as a disposable sacrifice for the benefit of women and children, and the men who complain about this system are "whiney misogynists."

"Men have problems, let's publically shame them and not address it."

I hate that she has issues with men and ignores how men don't have safe spaces, men aren't taught skills because we should know them, and men don't express emotion because no one wants to see it. She straight up ignores men's mental health issues as "men are horny".

The simple fact that this rampant misandry continues to go either a) utterly ignored or b) excused as somehow being "different" than misogyny because reasons is just...

I genuinely believe this is a legitimate example of mass gaslighting. Misandry online is just as "mainstream" and pervasive as misogyny. Hell, I'd say misandry is MORE mainstream in some cases because it's never called out or challenged in any significant way like misogyny.

Misogynist enclaves online have a whole culture of the mainstream calling it out endlessly. Every day there seems to be a new viral or semi-viral drama about online misogyny.

All the while online misandry continues to doot around scott free.

"because men, am woman amirite!?" is simply....accepted, misandry goes unchecked, spreads, and is denied outright as misandry at all.

Or if they're bold enough to admit that it is misandry, the more femcel aspect of all of this gleefully admits it and promotes it as positive and calls for heinous things like killing and subjugating men.

No offence but I don’t expect this to change anytime soon but it’s hilarious to see people try to weaponize “male loneliness epidemic” when that pew study had the men’s rate at 16% of feeling lonely and women’s was 15%.

But of course human loneliness epidemic isn’t that provocative of a title.
