I hopped on the Red Pill wave when my ex left me in 2018. My friend put me on AMS and after watching a few of his videos I was locked in. I was sold off the bs that I’m not being a man if I’m not: having sex with multiple women, breaking hearts, lying or cheating. I see the bullshit in it now, but when you’re a 19 year old man coming off a high school crush breakup with hardly any dating experience then it’ll look like it makes sense. I took red pill advice and a month later Im on 3-5 girl cycles and basically living the amateur red pill dream.. but I still wasn’t happy. I actually became more hurt and sad. Women aren’t the same regardless of how much RP influencers emphasize it. Here’s where the hurt part comes in. RP will tell you how to attract women but they don’t explain the type you will attract. I slept/dated the typical bimbos and Gold diggers but just like me at the time.. they didn’t really have much going for themselves and could be just as toxic as I was. The way I was attracted to women primarily for their looks is the same way they were attracted primarily on my resources. Either 1. They found someone with more resources. 2. I get tired of their looks and found better… it’s just a never ending cycle. You will not go anywhere with this and it turns to a void of depression and boredom. The sad part was the worst for me. Some girls that I’ve dated weren’t only attracted to the money and RP personality but actually liked me for who I am. I won’t lie and say that I didn’t catch feelings like the typical RP. When I had a real attachment, I would panic and do some RP shit like manipulate and ghost them. Keep in mind too these were actually good women. Even to this day I still feel bad for purposely hurting them because they genuinely cared about my well-being. All of it was just a big waste of money and most importantly time. While I spent all this time filling this sleeping with multiple women while putting myself at risk of STIs, I could’ve been doing a lot more better for myself. Rather than being a womanizer, I could’ve spent a lot of that time getting more hours under Uber (my second job) or just hanging with the boys… the options are endless. I realized this and just decided to take a break from women for a couple of months. Those couple of months were better than the months I spent being red pill. I actually focused on bringing myself up while surrounding myself with good people! I was actually becoming happy. It’s better going to the bars with your boys instead of staying there the whole time trying to find pussy. I also found video games as a hobby again and enrolled in college while in the military. Fast forward a few more months and I found my girlfriend who loves me for who I am instead of a fake alpha persona. We’ve been together for 2 years and sex with her is way better than having sex with chicks who I have little to no emotional connection with.

I believe RP has good intentions.. but that doesn’t make them a hero. They spend so much time objectifying women and using them as the scapegoat when it’s really our hurt and lust that put most of us in this position. Your goal shouldn’t be sleeping with as much women as you can and putting out an alpha persona. It should be being happy while genuinely helping the person next to you.

That’s the end of my experience in RP culture. I don’t make long posts on Reddit so sorry if my grammar and punctuation is off compared to the rest of the community.

Edit: RP isn’t the most evil thing in the world.. it had one or two perks I guess. Gave me the will you get into bodybuilding which later on lead me to become a power lifter. It also helped me tackle my social anxiety too as well since I spent most of my time in populated areas where I didn’t want to be.
