Resentment due to dating failures?

I can’t speak for anyone other than myself.

I’ve been in relationship every year of my life from 16 to 30. So I never had a problem getting a relationship—even being 5’7”, so those short guys aren’t playing their cards right, lol.

Ultimately after my most recent relationship, I decided to get some therapy, because I wanted to get over it sooner than later. Break-ups suck, and since I only date long-term, when you come out of a 4 year or 8 year relationship—it can be a rough recovery.

Anyways, so therapy taught me that I had abandonment issues and codependency. Fun times, right? I worked through my issues, and honestly feel like a totally new man. I fully embraced my freedom. I didn’t feel like I had to compromise or work for a woman’s attention or a relationship. I didn’t have to share my money or take on another’s baggage. I just got to be me. Absolutely free of any of my previous baggage. Therapy was the best thing I ever did with my life.

So with that all said, I really do embrace the Going My Own Way movement. I don’t support any of that unethical or hate filled crap so many others preach. I’m just enjoying the single life being content with career and hobbies.

So now the tricky question, right? Would I date again given the opportunity? It’s a big maybe. I feel like my standards are pretty high, and I’m no longer desperate due to my abandonment issues. I can stand firm pretty well and be patient.

If an absolute angel comes along—I could give dating a try again, but unless she’s amazing, I’ll pass on all the drama and baggage that comes from the average person.

I typically end up friend-zoning women because they’re not my type. So I mean the options are there. But it’s not good enough to justify the cost.

I absolutely refuse to date anyone with substantially worse baggage than myself, and I feel entitled to that right.

Generally speaking, the difference in an incel and a Red Piller is that an incel is typically younger and has had no success with women, whereas a RPer typically is mid 30s+ with a divorce behind him and now resents all women.

From an attempting to date perspective, most incels can’t get women because they’re too needy and awkward, whereas most RPers can’t get women because women can smell the dripping resentment coming off of them.

I realized for me personally that my dating experiences improved rather strongly when I flatly refused to discuss my ex at all beyond the very vague “We parted ways because it wasn’t going to work out.”

I heard somewhere that Rollo Tomassi and Rich Cooper had relationships that ended really Bad and for that reason they went full redpill.
