Hello guys - I just want to get some thoughts that have been bothering off my chest.
Men and women love differently. Men love women and women respect men. Men suffer harder from heart break. Just a quick search for "Do you miss your Ex" on AskWomen and AskMen is quite revealing. There are also many articles out there stating this. If a man tries too hard with a woman, even after years of being together it can easily earn him contempt. Why this is, I do not know. Why a woman would not appreciate such things, you tell me. But it is damn near a law of the universe.
I think most women find the male form unattractive. Women often report watching lesbian porn. I know that porn usually cater to men but I think all in all women do not find the male form attractive. They find males attractive if he can provide and display higher status than herself. This is not the case when women find themselves being attracted to other women. In those cases it is a visual attraction whereas men have to prove some other qualities to be considered attractive. I think this article is quite revealing "https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/world/2018/01/women-are-more-attracted-to-rich-men-scientists.html". The only instances where I have noticed women checking me out is in the instances where they know some quality of mine which is considered desirable.
I get the feeling that men desire women more than women desire men. They are more reactive than proactive in their sexual desires. Whereas men can be triggered by both external and internal visuals women are more focused on the internal fantasies and such. I feel like women get their sexual spark by feeling wanted but not by giving selflessly. Whereas mens hormonal profile is quite stable compared to women. Their hormonal profile can only allow for a passion and desire that ebbs and flows. I find the female sexuality too complex to digest and understand. It is to context, timing, setting and insert variables-based. I remember reading about the female libido being more fragile than men. As in they produce disgust. In the book "Come as You Are" which is basically about female sexual desire is says that a unified "sex drive" is a myth. What we really have are accelerators and breaks. In general, men have very sensitive accelerators. Women, in turn, have very sensitive breaks. So a woman who is horny can suddenly be turned off way easier than a guy.
A post from RedPillWomen where a woman is acknowledging this herself:
Actually, it resonated quite strongly with me. I've said before, I'm imprinted on my husband like a duckling. He is the top person in my life and as much as love can be unconditional, I love him unconditionally. When he was unemployed, I did not love him less. When he was heartbroken over our pet who died, I did not love him less.
However my passion and need for him ebbs and flows. We have sex every night with a few exceptions. However, the intense drive that I feel for sex, or affection or cuddling, that comes and goes situationally. If I'm ovulating, I can't get enough of him. If I'm sick, I need him to hold me and no one else will do. If he talks to me in "that Voice" I melt then and there. But all those feels are sparked by something. If he does something that annoys me, I have a difficult time brushing the feeling off. If I'm tired, I don't want to be touched. Half the month my response to sex is reactive not proactive (ie: I can be responsive to him, but left on my own, I'm just as happy with ugly pjs and a book). And, though it pains me to think about, I know that if he died and I'm honest with myself, I'd probably remarry.
My husband on the other hand, wants me constantly. I don't think his passion is situational. I believe that I am what drives him to get up and go to work every day, out of love, not obligation. He wants to spend an extra half hour holding me every morning before we get ready for work. I truly don't know that he'd remarry if I died. His behaviours are consistent and constant in a way that mine are not. And my husband has a ginger's fire and temper in other area of his life. When it comes to me he is steadfast and true - and I've been told this from outsiders. He'll be hot and worked up yelling about politics with friends and I've had someone turn to me and say "but it's clear that no matter what else he's doing, he adores you like nothing else ... just... the way he looks at you"
I just needed to collect my thoughts. All replies are welcomed!
