I think this is the bare minimum, tbh. Women bare all the associated risks of birth control, just so men can essentially cum inside them and not worry about pregnancy. It makes sense for the man to pay for it, because he’s not the one bearing majority of the risk. I dunno, I think this is like applauding a truck driver for not getting into an accident and driving safely.

EDIT: to add to my point, I doubt many men would be willing to pay for birth control if they still had to use condoms. Bottom line is, they have a lot to gain by putting the money down and almost nothing to lose. Meanwhile, the woman still has to put up with the side effects AND the possibility of pregnancy.

This isn’t a green flag, it’s simply something to be appreciated but literally says nothing about their character. Of course people will pay for your plan B or rx if it means they get to raw you. The gesture can be appreciated without labeling it as a green flag because it doesn’t say anything about their consistency of their character.

This is not a green flag. This is the bare minimum for a man who does not want to pay child support and takes responsibility for it.

He SHOULD be paying for the opportunity to use her body as his semen receptacle. He wants access to her body for recreation while avoiding procreation.

The fact that he understands the economics of birth control pills being far less expensive than child rearing and/or child support and is footing the bill does not mean that he has a high value as a man and it doesn't mean that his values are high. This is bare minimum and very basic.
