I've been examining and thinking about relationships a lot over the past couple of weeks, but one thing that bothers me about a recent sort of Break up is the subject of being accommodating. I think when I was acting accommodating, though it seems weak and feminine to do that, It's actual a male energy.

Actions I was doing to be accommodating: Suggesting date ideas, suggesting I come to him or meet in the middle, going dutch, going along with whatever he wants.

For context on the last one listed there, He told me I was too accommodating. He said that he said that because when he called to "discuss feeling disconnected from me" I took it as only a break up, and asked if what he wanted was to end it. He said yes. And he called me accommodating later, in that context, saying he only said that because I didn't act mad or upset when he called. I suggested it and made it easy for him to end it.

So, being accommodating isn't keeping your boundaries either. It's ultimately a destruction pill for you. And you'll just be in pain.

I don't know why this is so hard for me to wrap my head around right now. I've been in a love fog. Can anyone relate to this?
