In John’s defence, he told her from the start that he didn’t want marriage and kids. She chose to stick around for six years, until he “gave in” and acted like him marrying her and agreeing to give her children was doing her a favour. She was the one who ended, if my memory serves me correctly. If a man shows/tell you that he doesn’t want something, take him at his word and bounce. It’s incredible that within two years of her leaving that relationship she managed to find a man who was more than willing to marry her and have kids.
