I’m not dating at all so no potential beau to cut off but I’ve cut two (pretty close) friends out so far. One for being wholly unempathetic in general (which was surprising considering when we were younger he was extremely sensitive to humanities struggles in general, it was part of why we were friends) and the other for using racial slurs during a conversation when he knows I am not ok with that (have never been ok with it, will never be ok with it) and then hung up on me when I called him out on it. And then I’ve unfriended probably ten to fifteen acquaintances on FB for posting either scientific falsehoods re the virus or posting extremely insensitive or inflammatory material re the police brutality epidemic that’s currently being exposed.

2020 is the year I’m DONE. I have no patience for any of this bs anymore and i lose zero sleep at night with these people out of my life.
