Stumbled on this by the way because I was trying to determine if the guy I am seeing was shittesting me by planning a date one day and then cancelling the next to see how I would respond. Bad move on his part!

It all pretty much adds up to "have dignity," which I agree with. The only thing I have some disagreement with is that a girlfriend makes her boyfriend controlling... He at least worded that part wrong. Abusers were abusive before you met them. You can't change them; you can only avoid them.
