Sorry, this might be a long rant, but I have to get it off my chest.
During the last years, I feel the day-to-day sexual harassment has really become a new normal, at least where I live (Central Europe). I do not know whether this is actually a new development or I've just become more sensitive towards it.

But it is just so tiring. Men of all ages soundly assessing your looks and your 'fuckability' as you pass or walk in front of them, men trying to touch you inappropriately out of nowhere, giving you really gross "compliments", openly video-taping you saying really degenerate shit (I work part-time as a cashier, for christ's sake, after opting out of waiting because of these things), cars stopping beside you just to have men asking you to get in the car or catcalling you for eating ice-cream in the streets on a hot summer day, groups of men harassing you for 'fun' when you're on your way home at night, the last question on dates always basically being "...yeah well, wanna fuck?" and a lot of men not being able to treat you with basic respect seemingly just because... you're a woman?
These are random examples, but all of this tends to influence my day-to-day choices more and more - be it my outfit, make-up, the way I behave around men and in society in general. I'm also currently a student and reckon the behaviour isn't actually that much different in a professional academic setting.

Me being 6'1" makes it hard for me to blend in and not be seen, but I used to think of it as an advantage because I seldom felt scared by men, but this has changed by now.

I don't know if I'm overreacting towards these things, but what are your girls experiences with this? Is the treatment of women different where you live? How do you deal with it, especially in a professional/work setting?
