It's funny that so many men on that post are saying that this sub advocates making men take us to super expensive restaurants. I don't think many woman here expect that. I recently had a man take me to great little Ethiopian restaurant in the back of a convenience store. He knew I was vegan and knew I would have options there and that the food was good. We had also previously talked about how hole in-the-wall restaurants always have the best food.

It really is about the EFFORT. It takes zero effort to take a woman to a coffee shop or Outback Steakhouse. But when he shows that he takes my dietary needs into consideration and plans something he knows I'll like, it makes me feel like he actually cares about my happiness, which is something we should all want in a partner.

And you know what? If you're a woman who genuinely loves chain restaurants and the man you're seeing wants to take you to one because he knows you're crazy about fried onions and brownie sundaes, then I don't see a problem with that. But he needs to take you there because he knows you like it, not because it's the cheap and easy option.

Anyway, the post is obviously fake, but it just goes to show that men on reddit really know nothing about this sub.
