A few weeks ago I read a post here that advised to not just block an ex but to delete text conversations, delete the call log, then delete the contact. Also advised against blocking because the number would still be in my phone and I could dreg it up if I wanted to contact him later. I went through my phone and did this for a guy I dated for 3 months that ended up ghosting me. No trace of existence left.

Well today is his birthday. I had a brain lapse and thought I'd just text him to say Happy Birthday. What do you know! I have absolutely no way to contact him! FDS did for me what couldn't for myself (maintain boundaries)and now my self-respect is intact and my head is held high. A literal weight off my shoulders. Thank you, FDS!
