Fiancé hit me (accident?)

I’m a long time lurker but I have decided to post my story because I’m in desperate need of advice.

My fiancé is what I would describe as a HVM: Helps around the house, eager to take me to expensive restaurants and always wanting to improve himself. But unfortunately he has a couple of negative traits as well. He is very controlling over me and easily jealous.

Yesterday I went out to lunch with a friend and our waiter was kind of flirting with me. When I got home I told my fiancé about it, thinking it was funny and wanting to be open. He got pretty jealous, but I assured him I was only interested in him.

Not long after, he “accidentally” hit me. He apologised, saying it was an accident, but it has been happening more often recently so I’m not sure anymore. He always says it’s an accident. I desperately need advice, I really don’t know what to do anymore. Should I leave him?

TL;DR: my fiancé “accidentally” hits me occasionally but I’m not sure if it’s really an accident.
