Why do you care? What a waste of your time and energy. Wasting your time caring, wasting your time writing a post about it, wasting your emotional energy dwelling on it.

You are striving to be a HVW and HVW do not "fume" because they were ghosted.

It's just a first date. As a HVW, you are not emotionally invested at this point. As a HVW, you know that another date is just around the corner and you're just there to have fun and be treated.

Did you have a good time chatting over coffee with him? Did he pay? If yes, great. That's all you needed, he does the rest. He asks for the second date. You put forth no effort, you only respond to his advances. If he isn't doing the rest, you don't even really notice, because you have a line of other men waiting for the opportunity to take you out.
