Sorry y'all if meta posts aren't kosher. Mods, let me know if this belongs on another sub.

I'm sure we all know the feeling of being challenged to explain why we believe in a certain value or standard around dating, but we find ourselves lost for words and wish we had an FDS post (or real, live sis) on hand to help us articulate our thoughts.

I once read a post (or a comment?) here that so adeptly addressed why it isn't a double standard for women to continue dating while expecting the men they're seeing to not be doing the same. One point I remember was that women who are strategically dating/vetting men are not sleeping with their prospects, whereas men usually are. It discussed the inequities of the risk and reward, and essentially why women should reasonably be in the position of doing the "picking."

I can't, for the life of me, find this post/comment. Does anyone know what I'm talking about/have it saved? I know the handbook addresses these themes at large, but I'd really like to find this post/comment in particular 🤓
