I’ve had one relationship ever that was very one sided, with me putting in all the effort, initiating conversation and meeting up and being guilt tripped many times by him who has trust issues and claimed I was cheating.

I’ve learned from this experience, dumped him at new years and through this subreddit I decided I’m not going to take any of that anymore and I’ll only spare time for those who are worthy of it! I deserve better!

So I was on Tinder talking with a university student of the same degree as me but at a close-by uni. And we had so much in common, he initiated conversation, asked me questions and was actually enthusiastic about me! And he was funny and we had great conversation!

He offered to get a train down to my town and bought a ticket a couple of days ago. And I went to text him tonight, because he was going to spend the day with me tomorrow, and saw he’s blocked my snapchat and unmatched my profile.

I don’t understand why? Is this some kind of game he was playing and if so, what should I have watched out for? He never suggested anything sexual to me so I don’t think he was after that at this stage and I thought that we clicked really well. He just completely ghosted me.

This is the first date I was going to have in almost a year and it’s kind of knocked my confidence. What can I do to avoid this again? And why did this happen? Anyone that understands the male sex let me know.
