Lose the weight. It unhealthy and drives your worn.out feeling.

Weight loss is 90% diet, and 10% exercise. Frankly, you have you much on your plate right for exercise . Any exercise should be for mental health and clarity. Prob an hour or 2 walk a few days a week.

But eating less and calories, and adding healthful food doesn't take up any additional time. Figure out what your maintenance calorie intake is, and cut that by a few hundred calories. There are online calculators to help you with that.

And get on the scale once a week. It helps you get in tune with your bodies needs, and helps with accountability.

Start putting yourself first and do it with baby step. For example, if you don’t have time to exercise then replace another activity (e.g watching tv) with exercising.

Cover all the basics: try to get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, eat less sugar and more fruits and vegetables, cut out alcohol, use sunscreen.

If you’re determined to have surgery start a savings account. You can even look into financing. Some moms have it harder than others “getting their body back” but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with surgery. Especially since surgery is usually the only way with some conditions (loose excess skin).

I’m 34 with 3 kids. My youngest is 16 months old. I both feel and look like a queen. You just had a baby, so you need to be easy on yourself. However, you want some advice for queening it up. I know I could give you a pep talk or some nonsense, but I thought maybe I would just show you some of my morning and night schedule for inspiration. I will leave out work and during the day.

5:30 - 6:30 AM: wake up and get in a 30 minute to an hour workout before any of the kids are awake

6 - 7:30 AM: beautification routine; take a 15 minute bath, apricot scrub my face. Ideally, I’ve washed my hair the night before, so that doesn’t need prepping. Do makeup. Have your cute outfit set out the night before if you can, or organize your closet so that it’s easy to get to! I love babydoll dresses and over the knee boots, or leggings and cute sweaters in the winter.

Night comes: take off my makeup with micellar water. Full retinol face moisturizer routine. Take a long bath. Your baby can sleep next to you in a bouncer if need be. Wash and condition your hair. Use some essential oils with a diffuser.

Really, as moms our biggest struggle is realizing we matter too. Not just the kids. Your kids will be so much better off if they see a mama who feels and embraces her inner lioness. I also do taekwando and schedule nights with my friends to play my instruments during the week as a way to keep myself intact. You are important. You aren’t less of a mom for taking time out for yourself to work out or get emotionally healthy. What are some things YOU like to do that you have been saying you just don’t have time for?

i am also overweight and frumpy. (& lazy) ive done a couple simple things and i feel like they have already made me look much classier and helped me start on my glo up

start wearing your hair in a low bun/ponytail, bonus if you slick it down. never wear it up
do a capsule closet. i got rid (storage) of all my clothes except a couple basic jeans, a white and a black basic top, and a few other simple outfits that can be dressed up or down. ditch the sweatpants and baggy sweaters.
i dont wear jewelry much but i make sure i keep my stud earrings in at all times .
i dont wear makeup either so ive been working on clearing up my skin and make sure to wear lipgloss.
