My feminist soul is struggling with my reaction to a PickMeisha in my community. I want so badly to just be able to ignore all of the interjections with the what about me and attention seeking behavior, but it is just everywhere. How do you guys deal with engaging in communities where this energy exists without blowing a gasket? Like I know this is not her fault, and I know that I should be directing my ire at some of my friend's poor choices at him and him alone. It just keeps coming out at her whenever she does all of this performative "coolness" and attention seeking.
