So he got with you at 26 when you were 19. OK. I know you won't listen until it's too late but he's a pedophile, run! The reason why he got with you is because you're naive and don't know better. Meanwhile, women his age know his tricks and won't fall for it.

Also why did he go on a Miami trip the weekend of Valentine's Day and why didn't he spend that special weekend with you? You don't go to Miami with 2 friends just to drink some beers at a bar. I'm almost certain he cheated on you there and that was his plan all along. He's using you and taking you for a fool. Your father knows that because he's a man himself and knows what's going on in your boyfriend's head. The religion is just another minus for him.

He could have easily fabricated texts with buddies. You gave him time, and he may have used that to make the texts. It's easy to hide the girlfriend too. I think you can do so much better. Why did he leave you on Valentines weekend? There's some holes in this story.

While I do agree that your boyfriend is being dishonest and the relationship is unhealthy. as someone of a similar background I urge you to have boundaries with your father and parents. I don't think it's right for your parents to have a say in who you decide to be with, it's your decision even if the religions are different. Your dad is using this to control you, the way any LVM would. He has overstepped the boundaries by visiting his house etc. Investigating is for YOU to do not your father.

Just be careful, I have similar problems with my mother (my LVM father is not around much ha) and have to exert boundaries with her. But I feel so much more freedom now that I do. It's hard but I urge you to consider how much control your father has over your life. A controlling LVM father is really toxic and is as bad or worse than a boyfriend/husband as it's hard to just leave them. So please assert your boundaries or seek help for them and live the life you want to. I doubt your father is only interfering with this relationship, I'm sure he will interfere with them all if you don't select someone he deems "good for you". Please pm me if you need help with overbearing family members.
