He made a sexual, unflattering joke/insinuation when he was asked about Sofia’s auditioning process for a movie he directed (minute 2:23-25). He’s a LVM who happened to get lucky with her, simply because he has the looks, money, and works in the same industry.

At best, he’s immature. At worst, he sees her as a prize to show off, nothing more. Albeit your relationship timeline matters, so does the person’s character. Them saying that you may be their “the one” holds no value if their intentions are purely shallow.

Ehhh I don't love this. Flying out to take her on a date is fine but she told him she wanted to wait until she was back in LA, so his desires overrode hers. This "guy talk" about "hopping the line" and comparing her to sports contracts is LV. He probably doesn't talk like this around her (or didn't at the beginning) so this is his real self.

I'm getting the vibe he just sees her as a prize to be won for male validation.

Coffee dates are for teenagers who still live on the allowance of their parents. I will not stand for it. Have coffee dates with your local prostitute since you don’t owe her anything besides the money she charges you for to get laid.
