Girl, calm down! Alcohol is pretty bad for everyone in general. When you drink, alcohol goes straight to your bloodstream and your brain. And actually, women who binge drink end up with bad outcomes like liver failure sooner than men who binge drink do, so alcohol affects women worse than men. Nothing to do with childbearing ability.
Lol I’ll say it again. CALM DOWN

It's not about how bad alcohol is for you though is it?
It's about having your bodily autonomy taken away because you are a woman.
Op has every right to be enraged. Do not tell women to calm down about things that oppress them. Ffs

I recall that OP was reacting to an “article” of the World Health Organization. It’s not like alcohol is banned now for women. Plus, it’s the WHO. It’s a bit much to jump to the conclusion that the WHO suddenly wants to oppress women. Like maybe that guideline is because the WHO is trying to improve women’s health? OP should link that article so we can see what it says.

Yes ofcourse but the fact that they were acting as if there wasn’t any consequences on mens sperm was sad but yes ofcourse always drink moderately don’t binge drink stay under the recommended drinks per week

Google it yourself I can’t link it because of the article costing money. It is covered by the New York Times the Irish something and so many more if you google child bearing women alcohol and it’s ALL over TikTok and different social media platforms who took it down because backlash but it was there

Yeah, I found it in the New York Post. I did some research, and yeah a bunch of tabloids misrepresented the WHO report. This was not in the New York Times. The actual quote in the WHO report is:
“appropriate attention” should be given to the prevention of drinking alcohol among children and adolescents, as well as “among pregnant women and women of childbearing age”.
Also, a little suspicious that the alcohol lobby, the “Portman Group”, is the one crying sexism.
Don’t worry, I’ll start protesting when alcohol is actually banned for women. This is just distracting from the bigger issues affecting women at hand.

I don’t think it’s a matter that should be protested against when it happens because then the power will have been taken away from us it’s a direct attack on our reproductive system and women who do now wish to have children of any kind. I think it’s ruthless that it’s even posted on any form of social media platform where it’s known that it will be taken out of context it’s incredibly terrifying to think about. Ever attack on our bodies should be taken seriously just like the abortion ban in texas atm it’s really going down and I don’t even live in the us. Ofcourse it isn’t good to drink at all but then ban it for everyone not just one gender as if we want to have mens kids and not be able to get drunk.
