My friend is constantly picking LVM.. HELP

Honestly I’ve had a friend like this before, and after a while it gets exhausting repeating the same advice over and over to deaf ears. You can lead a horse to water but can’t make it drink.

Sounds like she’s associating with some very NVMs, and, if it were me I would just fade out.

Suggest a therapist to work on her self-esteem issues and then yes, tell her you don't want to be part of it all.

I use this tactic in situations like this: "I'm glad you feel safe talking to me about this stuff, but it's starting to feel like the only reason we are friends. I know that's not your intention, so can we please change the subject? Also, I know a great counsellor/therapist who would probably give even better advice cause they'll be more objective about it all."

If she doesn't take the hint after that, dump/"grey rock" her. If she's solid, she'll respect your very reasonable boundary and your friendship can get back on track.

You can show her a good example and offer some advise, but you can't change someone that doesn't want to change
