I have many posts on my journey of leaving an abusive and narcissistic husband after finding FDS. This post, however is dedicated to MAMA!

Luckily my mom is married to my dad who is mostly high value (minus some cultural crap). Everytime I learned something from FDS I would share it with her. Everytime I read a book on the book list I’d get her the audiobook to listen to. My mom used to be the biggest people pleaser at her work and in her family. She would always come home late because of some extra project that was dumped on her...

This year my MAMA leveled up big time. She upped her self care routine, she took my dad up on buying her a new wardrobe (she used to always say “no, save the money for something else”) and she ALWAYS comes home on time now. She has a new manager and she told me it’s the perfect opportunity to practice setting boundaries.

If you have someone you love who is a pickme, include them in what you learn! I’ve also been telling my bestie about different manipulation tactics men use and she finally came to the realization that she has been trauma bonding with her husband.

Look out for the queens in your life that don’t know what you didn’t know before FDS 👑
