I recommend using hinge. For my pics, I always try to use the most recent ones. Usually one selfie, one full body shot, a pic of me and my dog, a pic of me doing something I love and a candid. That’s my check list. I stay away from posting any group photos or pics in sunglasses (because I hate that on a guys profile.) you don’t need a bio on hinge, they provide you with prompts to answer. I keep my answers short and sweet and at least one answer is humorous. That’s my strategy. I very rarely will reach out first. Been on a couple dates and I’ve been on it for a month.

No bikini pictures or anything too flashy or big-cleavage pictures, it will attract all the creeps sadly. You don't message first at all!
Put 2 face pictures, 1 body picture and maybe a picture of you and your dog/cat/any pet or a picture doing something you like doing (drawing, sports, etc). 4 pictures should be enough to know what you look like. Use recent pictures and not snapchat filters or facetuned ones.

You unmatch/block if

If they text you for 3-4 days without asking you out on a date.
If they text you sexual stuff or ask for more pictures (assuming you do have a clear face picture no filters and a body picture).
If they are rude/sending a copy paste message/calling you cute but not beautiful/pretty.
If they ask you to hang out but not say "I would like to take you out"
If they don't pay on a date.
If they take too long to text back and not even apologize for it or tell you beforehand.
If they're boring and give you short uninterested answers.
Saying they want to "explore" and only settle when they meet the "one". They don't want a relationship, they want you to be their fuck buddy until he meets someone he's truly attracted to.
Saying they're not interested in anything serious/NSA or word plays.
If they talk about their ex or say they just got out of a relationship...don't be the rebound.
Asking how many men you slept with/how many relationships you had.
Has a female best friend.
Does not like kids (if you do want children in the future).

Don't put a height restriction (assuming you have one) in your bio even if you have one, if the app allows to put one (not in the bio) then do so. Just ask the guy how tall he is after a few messages, if he's asking how much do you weigh regardless if you're chubby or skinny, unmatch. He's most likely rude, sexist and def not looking for a relationship, body is something you can see on pictures, height isn't. He can look like a 5'4 if he's 6'1 and all his friends are 6'5 and he can look like a 6' if he's 5'7 and all his friends are 5'4. If height is important in your preferences then you should def ask!You can also swipe left on anyone who doesn't have his height in his bio, your choice. If you're a taller girl that likes tall men you can put your height in your bio or just "I'm tall" that's what i would do. Unmatch if a guy is too short in your opinion, he will not grow taller and you will not 'magically' start liking him if you didn't before and if the height bothers you.

Swipe left on the unemployed, artistic, broke, no-hobbies, gamer types. They're no good. Don't be bob the builder and don't try to fix them.

Protip:

Do not write too much about yourself. Write the basics, but keep in mind that men dont know what they want. No matter what they say, what they really want is a chase.

I have been VERY successful OLD and most of my profile usually talks about what I want in a man. It's unapologetic and blunt. For example, I write that I usually like blond men around 6' that enjoy reading and will cook for me.

I get FLOODED with pickmeisha men that tell me "even though I'm not xyz, I am ABC, if you'd like to give me a chance". This sets you up on the right foot of men remembering THEY chase YOU. This is my best piece of OLD advice I could give anyone.
