I think part of the problem is that women are told that if their proud of being beautiful that they’re conceited, ugly on the inside, selfish, vain, ect. Basically women are taught from the time their born that they’re SUPPOSED to be beautiful but they are absolutely under no circumstances allowed to acknowledge their beauty. I mean thousands of songs, books, tv shows, movies etc play out the beautiful woman just doesn’t know how beautiful she is and that makes her perfect! Ugh.

Edit: women are also clearly held to higher beauty standards....obviously. That’s why I see 10 very attractive women for every one very attractive man.
