I had a major crush on a guy, who had a crush on someone else. She rejected him. And he came to me to complain to. And I get it. I didn’t tell him I liked him. But I certainly showed him. So when he was complaining in his texts, I just stopped responding. I haven’t gotten anything from him since. I do wonder if he even thinks about why I stopped responding. But it put a lot into perspective about what type of person he is.

He liked to call me his friend, but when it came down to it, he knew very little about me, cares very little about me and the boundaries I had in place between me and him. Had he bothered to ACTUALLY be my friend, he would have known that I may be forgiving, but when it’s time, I can cut anyone out of my life, no problem.

I’ve been thinking about him a lot, and wanting to text back to keep him around. But sis, I am worth more than he could ever see. And this post strengthened my resolve.

love this! i never see ppl talk about getting over ppl that you didnt really date but were still as important! get over them!! dont text them! you dont need to give them closure, instead find yourself anew again!
