I was staying over at a friend's apartment for one night and we went out with her and all of her roommates, including this guy. He made a good fiest impression and when I left in the morning he found an excuse to give me a gift so he could slip a note to me, saying how nice it was to meet me and he hopes to see me again.

A few days later I'm back in town and I let him know, he meets me at the train station, takes me to dinner, everything goes well. Tells me when he'll be in my city, we make plans. After the second date though I feel like I've seen enough and I'm not that into him so I tell him we should be friends. He's very sad, still wants to walk me home. Kisses me aggressively at an inappropriate moment and ignores me pulling away. We walk the rest of the way in silence.

Two days after that he writes me a novel analysing what he might have done wrong that I didn't fall in love with him. I don't reply. A week goes by and he sends and deletes a message, to which I finally answer, mostly because I just don't want him to do that to the next girl. I say: First, the kiss was very rude, never do that again to anyone. And second, did you expect a reply?

He says no. Then after a few minutes 'I get it'. And a few more 'I'm an idiot for not getting it sooner'. No apology, nothing. I feel like he's trying to manipulate me into comforting him, what else is there for him to get out of it? Wish I could block, but I don't want a bad relationship with anyone in that apartment because my very good friend lives there. I'm just shocked that he managed to come off so nice amd sensitive at first. You really see their true colors after saying no.
