Today i fought a manspreader and won! I hope it‘s not too offtopic!

So: my gym has a sauna, which I attend regularly. It’s a mixed gender one (or unisex), although there are always more men then women, sadly. It does have slightly locker room vibe at times, precisely because of that, and often i‘m the only one there with just men around.

anyway, there I was, breaking a good sweat and relaxing in peace and quiet, with one other girl inside the cabin, when this guy enters the situation. I immediately recognized him from last time, when he was CONSTANTLY panting, gasping, rubbing his sweat off... overall, just dominating the whole cabin with his „experience“. Its a small room that fits max 10 people sitting so its pretty tight inside, just to paint the picture.

I was so pissed last time that i actually left the sauna, after trying to stand it for some time. There were other people (men) inside but no one said anything , tho i‘m sure that it must have been annoying for them as well.

So anyway, today I took a chance and once we were outside the sauna cabin I straight up told him that his constant breathing, gasping, rubbing is disturbing and inconsiderate to others who are trying to relax, and that he could try to tone his space occupying behavior. He was surprised and of course apologised, and I guess was a bit ashamed.

After he left the other girl came up to me and said it was so cool I‘ve said it and she agrees 100%, she‘s tired of menspreading everywhere so at least in fucking sauna we shouldn‘t have to deal with that.

Last week I finally for the first time left a low quality guy on read. I wasted waaaaaay too much time on that one. he and his bootycall texts disquised in „how are you?‘s“ are out of my life!
