I came here via r/narcissisticabuse and it's been a revelation. I've already read the handbook and read all the recent posts as well as some recommended reading such as The Rules. So I hope it's ok to ask some questions.

I'm queer/bisexual. For many years I dated women exclusively although for about the past 6 or so it's been just men. I saw the was a lesbian dating strategy sub but there isn't any info there really. How does FDS apply to women dating women? How does it apply to making platonic friends?

I see the wariness about men who watch porn. And I get it. But what is the view on women who masturbate? And on those who read erotica/romance? Surely that's not the same thing at all?

I'm staunchly childfree and 40. And I think I will get my tubes tied in the next year. So when would one bring this up according to FDS? And even the subject of kids? I don't want to date anyone with kids either.

My lovely nex gave me herpes. When would be the time to disclose this according to FDS?

I'm focusing squarely on myself for the foreseeable future bc I'm getting over a brutal discard after a 4 year relationship with a covert narcissist. So I'm focusing on leveling up. But I am really into the idea of FDS and for me it seems like the logical way forward. So I am curious on these points.

Thanks! I've already forwarded the handbook to a friend who was happy to see all this collected in one place.
