So I have been talking to this guy who I met on dating app. I am going to tell in detail and ask for advice so bare with me on this. We are both 23. I have been working from home while he's not. He's too much into gaming. Our professions couldn't be any different from each other. We had been talking for a month. I have never initiated chat with him ever. We are not in same city and have never met irl. And he gave alot of mixed signals initially. Sending me specific romantic songs which tie in to the situation. Basically he talked all his feelings through songs. I knew there is pandemic going on so I was taking it very lightly not thinking about future. And so after a month he sends me this song lush life. Anybody who don't know the song, the singer says, 'it was just a summer crush and I gave it up'. Next day, for the first time he asks my pov on something, which was as he phrased it that someone has proposed to his female friend, and she asked him what she should do, and he said go ahead even though he knows they are not gonna last for a month. And next day to that he starts calling me his friend. And still he wants to talk to me all day.I always come across as too nice and feel like he just wants validation. And I don't have a problem with being friend, but I don't feel any kinda honesty in him. Plus I never had a guy friend so I don't know how are you supposed to approach friendship who you liked initially. My Sherlock mind says that he's the one who proposed to someone and still wants me as a backup or whatever. So should I continue talking to him or just ghost. I feel strong right now, but I don't how long I will stay strong and regret my decision. Help.
