Crosspost "Why a country’s declining birth rate is not women’s problem to solve" from /r/fourthwavewomen:

I’m reading up on how women are choosing to completely forgo the process of having children, and there is an insane amount of pushback against them.
Consider China attempting to provide greater incentive for women to have children now they see women don’t want to anymore.

Personally, when I hear news like this, I feel like livestock. Like, am I a machine that’s supposed to pump out voters and workers???

i need some help articulating this, but why would you say that declining birthrates are not women’s problem?
