I don't know, I keep getting told that feminists don't do that and that only incels do, so obviously this isn't a Real Feminist. After all, no feminist has ever talked about killing all men, or how a world without men would be a utopia, or how we need to abort boys.

I thought this was a particularly important piece to post even though the discussion got locked.

I think it's surprising that many defend open misandry under the guise of catharsis or irony. Given what's happened in numerous conspiracy groups, or hell even The_Donald, I feel like we should all understand at this point that human beings are really terrible at detecting and contextualizing irony.

It's almost inevitable that groups laced with irony eventually get overrun by those who actually believe the ridiculousness getting shared. I don't think that feminism is an exception. I don't want to instill fear or cause a panic, but I strongly suspect we will see an increasing frequency in misandry-driven attacks in the future due to the laissez faire attitude many groups have taken regarding openly hating men. This discussion highlights one such event - something I was assured by many feminists would never happen.

Edit: admittedly, the reporting here is potentially biased because Russia, but I'll gladly amend this if that bias is revealed by a credible source.
