I've just heard about this and took to see how social and news media were reacting to this story. Nothing on Reddit so far as I've seen (add a link in the comments if you know of one).

Pink News remains the leading LGBT+ news outlet whilst Sky news is a large general news outlet. I found it... Interesting the different use of language and amount of focus each gave to specific elements of this story.
