The historical way of providing maintenance to your wife after divorce is becoming more in favour of women. I don't understand how men are still supporting it and not opposing it. It's ok if a woman really don't have any support but if that woman is abuser then I don't find any logic of providing her the maintenance and child support. If my wife has cheated on me then I don't think I should give her the award in the way of maintenance but still men need to do it.

What other way we can handle these kind of situation? Like, if a woman is the abuser one then shall we arrest her and how is she gonna survive after the jail? What changes we need to make in maintenance and child custody laws?
