False. Men get arrested overwhelmingly for rapes. But they don't commit 'nearly all'.

I am forced to admit that in my experience, men are often, though by no means always, capable of being arrogant, ego driven, entitled and insensitive and I don’t necessarily exclude myself, certainly not my younger self.

That's everyone, not men.

It is an old and perhaps sexist trope that women should beware of ruthless and dishonest seducers who are out to lead them down the path to destruction.

This exists for both sexes. There is a trope of the femme fatale, and of the Don Juan.
