This is a good thing if and only if it is restricted to those men who signed off on it while they were alive, like organ donors. Otherwise it's just grave-robbing.

Every mortician and other funeral home worker can tell you plenty of stories of people coming in wanting a hair for a DNA test to somehow contest where the inheritance goes against the will of the deceased. I'm fairly certain they have stories of people trying to get sperm too.
